Would you like to know what the future holds?
Well apart from next week's winning EuroMillions numbers, a surprising number of people are not particularly keen on knowing the future. The insurance industry has been a bit like this, traditionally having a somewhat cynical view of future predictions but in recent years this has changed. Increased availability of data, new market segments and new technology have significantly impacted personal and commercial lines. Combined with a changing political landscape, the future of insurance will definitely be interesting.
Please join us on Thursday 14th November at Dogpatch Labs in CHQ, Dublin for our next InsurTech Ireland meetup, where we will be discussing "What the future of Insurance might look like". We have a great lineup of speakers who will help us navigate this brave new world. Peta Kilian and Esther Williams from the Market Operations & Innovation team at the Lloyd's Market Association will be joined by Naoise Harnett, a Partner at the law firm Pensent Masons. They will talk about a range of perspectives from the potential impact of Brexit, through to the new skills Insurance professionals may need to develop.
Sponsorship for this event is still available (and great value!), so if you or your company would like to sponsor, please email us at info@insurtechireland.org
Registration is from 5:30pm with the event starting at 6:00pm. We will have the customary pizza and refreshments after the talks, so please plan to network and continue what will be undoubtedly be an interesting discussion.
As always, if you have colleagues or friends that would like to know about our future events, please encourage them to join our mailing list here.
